Named Entity Extraction

When data is processed, Indexed I/O will attempt to extract named entities like people, companies, places, and more! You can review the entities extracted from your data by going to the analytics tab (formerly similar). 

If you want to view where these entities were found in the data, switch to the plaintext tab and you'll see a highlighter icon appear next to each group on entities. You can select this highlighter to highlight a group, or click the individual entity. 

You can even select multiple groups at once to have them highlighted in different colors. 

Searching for named entities is as easy as adding a field to your search. Open up the advanced search tool, then drag out the named entity field. You can select the type of entity from the drop down, then enter your keywords into the box.
